REPORT: Permanency Planning and Family-Based Alternatives Report

S.B. 368, passed in 2001 by the 77th Texas Legislature, requires the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to monitor placements and permanency planning for children with developmental disabilities residing in institutions in Texas.

Pathways To and From Congregate Care for Children with Developmental Disabilities

This report describes the findings of a study of permanency plans for 830 children and youth with developmental disabilities living in residential facilities in Texas.
